England wish to draw inspiration from the lads’s cricket group and take “followers on a journey”, says Jamie George.

Brendon McCullum’s cricketers drew 2-2 with Australia within the latest Ashes collection and their attacking type impressed many followers.

England host Wales on Saturday and hooker George mentioned it was “about time” they received “Twickenham bouncing”.

“We wish to take the followers on a journey with us over the following few months,” hooker George informed BBC Sport.

“I’m an enormous cricket fan myself and I really like the journey we’ve got been taken on with the England cricket group.

“I believe the way in which Brendon McCullum and captain Ben Stokes have performed that’s unimaginable.”

The England rugby group have been booed off the pitch after shedding to South Africa in November in what turned out to be Eddie Jones’ closing recreation in cost.

Since Steve Borthwick took over as head coach, England have misplaced 4 out of six matches and their final recreation at Twickenham was a report house defeat by France.

“I’m actually assured come this weekend – and kicking on from there – they’re actually going to be enthusiastic about what they see.”
